The Challenge

The process was launched with websites enabled for a multitude of images - Benns.no and benns.dk. The old BENNS website was outdated and not optimized for mobile devices; therefore, they wanted a new website, more visual and with a much simpler architecture.

  • Building the web with a separate CMS, data layer and front-end means that the web works at lightning speed even with heavy images.

Intuitive menu

  • The content of BENNS - Rejser til hele verden varies widely: from summer vacations for families with children; study trips with personalized programming; to business trips. Therefore, it is important to have a very well-polished menu structure, so that the user can quickly navigate to the desired destination.
  • The division into three main areas (leisure trips, study trips and business trips) makes it easier for the user to navigate, and in each of the three categories, the construction of a simple menu ensures an intuitive user experience. The structure of the menu has been made taking into account the way the user navigates, who can choose to Where do you want Go to What type of trip wants to perform. From here, the user is directed to a specific landing page, either for destinations or types of trips. Here, the focus is on an attractive and informative entry that inspires the user during their journey to their dream trip.

Direct classification on the cover

  • Already on the cover, the user can navigate in different ways. If you are looking for a leisure trip, for example, in the three drop-down menus you can sort trips by type, month and destination. In addition, those who are looking for a study trip can also sort it by destination, minimum budget and maximum budget. The focus is always on offering the user the best conditions to find exactly the trip they want.

Results

The new website has contributed to an improved user experience, and more importantly, it has significantly improved our conversation rate. This Google-friendly, image-rich platform has improved our experience on tablet and mobile — as well as on desktop.
